I am Drew Miller. I have spent over two decades directing enterprise technology, stewarding mission-critical ERP platforms, and running high-availability infrastructure across manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, and healthcare.
At Tervis Tumbler Co., I led enterprise technology through a full-lifecycle Oracle EBS implementation and a decade of continuous post-rollout stewardship: hardening systems, expanding $500M+ EDI trading partner pipelines, and maintaining 24/7 manufacturing operations through major Florida hurricanes with zero critical data loss.
Today, through Drew Miller Advisory, I advise mid-market manufacturers, distributors, and business owners on where modern AI actually pays off: what to build, what to buy, and what to skip.

Enterprise Technology & Operations
Every stage of my career has been rooted in operational accountability: from hospital claims support where billing errors threatened staff payroll, to full-lifecycle ERP implementations and modern AI advisory.
Launched an independent executive advisory practice helping mid-market manufacturers, distributors, and business owners navigate enterprise AI adoption. Focus is strictly on real-world operational return on investment, data security, and avoiding speculative agency lock-in.
“Drew’s work helped establish the architectural foundation for an ambitious AI initiative, addressing everything from governance and cybersecurity to infrastructure, scalability, and implementation planning. What stood out most was his ability to approach these challenges from both a technical and business perspective, recognizing that technology must ultimately serve the organization’s broader objectives. We would confidently recommend him to organizations seeking experienced, strategic technology guidance.”
Every leader claims to have a philosophy. These are mine: refined over twenty years running enterprise IT through plant shifts, system conversions, hurricane recoveries, and board presentations.
“A leader who has never configured the system is always at the mercy of vendor brochures.”
Real authority in technology leadership does not come from slide decks or management jargon. It comes from having mapped schemas, resolved EDI exceptions, configured network failovers, and written the integration code. When evaluating complex architectures or emerging AI models, I look at the actual data pipelines, latency boundaries, and schema integrity rather than marketing claims.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Technical Communications from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, an institution renowned for engineering, supply chain management, and technology rigor. That foundation cemented my focus: translating complex technical capabilities into practical business outcomes.
I began my career in the high-stakes realm of healthcare claims electronic data interchange (EDI) at Sage Software and WebMD. When healthcare billing transactions fail, hospitals cannot meet payroll. That early pressure taught me how to diagnose root causes calmly, communicate transparently with executive stakeholders, and build systems that do not break under load.
Over fourteen years leading enterprise IT at Tervis Tumbler Co., I navigated the full spectrum of corporate technology: greenfield ERP rollouts, vendor contract negotiations, shop floor telemetry, disaster recovery during Florida hurricanes, and executive technology governance.
These days, I am based in Largo, Florida. I believe deeply in direct access: when clients engage me, they work directly with an experienced executive who understands how code, databases, and physical operations interact.
